God bless the person who invented this. The strap provides just enough oomph to enable someone with mobility challenges to get in and out of their vehicle.

My mother and sister both have severe arthritis and have required total knee replacements. They have difficulty getting in and out of any vehicle. I ordered the CarCaddie (and the "Handybar" also available from Amazon.com) for my car to see if it would help them. My 82 year old mother said it was the easiest she'd gotten out of a car in years. We liked them so much that I then ordered another of each for my mother's car and the CarCaddie for my sister's (her car lacks the "U" shaped striker plate in the door frame to accomodate the Handybar.) Now I don't have to transfer them back and forth between vehicles. Your car must have a metal frame over the top of the window when you open your car door for this to attach to.

This idea is so simple and makes so much sense. It has been a true lifesaver for my wife. It is easy to install and move from one vehicle to another. My wife just carries it in her purse. The bedcaddie is truly fantastic.

My husband has parkinson's and having something to assist him in and out of bed and for stabalization, this is a great product. The product arrived in excellent condition and was easy to put to together.

I bought it for help getting in and out of the car. It's a handy gadget that works great. I would recommend it for anyone having mobility difficulty.

This little handy strap handle is terrific and my client uses it everyday.
Never had any problem with door shutting on her, but she does make sure to open the door full and scoot out to edge of seat, then uses it to pull herself straight up.

When she needs to she uses it in addition to the Handybar.

9.) Good Quick Fix handle for Shoulder problems

Although its adjustable, it tends to hang too low. Be aware that it will be thumping on the window if you are not hanging on to it. It is a good quick fix and works well with shoulder problems.

i purchased this product to help my elderly father get out of his car, but as you pull on the handle, the door closes in on your legs. i am returning it.
