This tub stool is perfect. I have a very small shower and this stool is small enough to fit in and it is comfortable and secure to sit on. I can't find one thing wrong with it.

This tub stool arrived today and it took about 15 minutes to assemble it with only a philips screw driver. It is well made and appears to be very sturdy, and the locking system of the leg height adjustment is very secure. It looks better "in the flesh" than in the photos and I am extremely pleased with it.
And best of all, the price was right!

I had previously ordered shower stools that were more bench-shaped. But the legs always ended up warping from weight (even though I'm just average sized) and the stools ultimately ended up sagging and becoming uneven. However, after a few months of using this shower stool, I am optimistic that that will not happen due to the better-shaped design. I also like the size much better anyway, since my shower stall is not big. The stool is big enough for me to sit on comfortably, but doesn't take up a lot of space. It was fairly easy to put together. It's sturdy and it hasn't rusted. I am very happy with it.

A stable platform to bath on. My tub is narrow and this produt fit perfectly, even though the tub has a concaved bottom. Adjustable height makes this a plus as well. Easy to store once you have no need for it.

We purchased this item for an elderly friend (approx. 185 lbs) who was having foot surgery. This sturdy stool fit perfectly in his narrow tub/shower. We added a clamp-on tub safety rail similar to this one: Deluxe Clamp On Tub Rail - Without Adjustable Hieght and he was able to shower without requiring assistance. Since he lives alone, being able to maintain his independence after surgery was a wonderful thing. He liked the stool so much, he continues to use it even though his foot healed long ago.

Okay let's just talk about the facts. You have a small built in shower and you can't shave your legs and you just need to prop them up! Great! You need to sit down for whatever reason...it's sturdy and holds great! When you don't need it, it is small enough to sit right outside the shower stall and throw your clothes on them, sit and put your shoes on and do your make up. You need it in another room for whatever...light enough to drag around. Best little stool I ever had and will not scare you to death if you need it in the shower for it's true intent!

This stool is perfect for the good ol' leg in the cast situation. Not only does it allow my husband (who is a very large human being) to safely wash himself without standing on one leg, it is level with the side of the tub so he can easily hang the cast out to prop it on a box next to the tub. The stool's feet don't slip, EVER; and the legs are completely rigid (no bending, or wobbling). I would recommend assembly with a power drill instead of a screwdriver just to make sure that it stays that way, and doesn't loosen over time. Best 40-something-bucks I've spent in a long time!

I bought this small stool for use in my small tub/shower after foot surgery. Although it is small, my big caboose was quite comfortable on it. It's very lightweight and easy to move, yet stable. The recovery period is almost over, but I intend to keep the stool in the shower as it makes shaving legs so much easier.

I ordered one of these stools recently, and it is EXACTLY what I needed. My husband assembled it, and taking a tip from one of the other reviewers, used the automatic screwdriver function on his electric drill to make the screws nice and tight.
It is steady, steady, steady. I had realized I was getting faint standing in the shower, and that is not only unpleasant, but dangerous. Now I'm not getting faint any more. This is a wonderful tool.
It fits nicely in our small bathtub, and is easy to move around. After a shower I take it out of the tub to dry, and put it back in the next morning. It is not in the way in the middle of our small bathroom floor. It is just GREAT.

After tibial plateau surgery I was unable to put any weight on my right leg for 3+ months, and wouldn't have been able to shower without this trusty little stool.
It takes 3 minutes to put it together, and is adjustable for height.
As long as it was placed correctly in the tub, it gripped the bottom and (very importantly) stayed in place as I maneuvered in and out of the tub.
A note from my trial and error - if you put it in the tub so that one leg is forward and one back (as opposed to square in the tub), it will rock back and forth - a little scary at first. I recommend you play with the placement before trusting all your weight to it.
Now that I'm back walking and standing in the shower, my wife actually still uses the stool as a make-up stool, due to it's small size (easily tucked away) and adjustability.

As others have attested, it goes together easily. My father has been using it for several months now. He was uncomfortable sitting on it at first and continues to be leery now. His balance is not good and if he doesn't sit centered, he will fall off the chair. It also will scoot if one is not careful. We do have slip resistance in the shower so I was surprised to see it can move so easily. It is a good chair for the small shower space but I don't think I would buy it for someone who needs a lot of assistance sitting and standing.
