this was the best priced leg wedge that I could find and it has been a great buy. The foam is firm and supports your legs well and it is wide enough that your legs aren't right beside each other. Great product.

This bed wedge is very well made and very supportive yet not at all rock-like. The cover is functional and form-fitting. It was light enough to tote to another state in the car and into a hotel for use after my surgery. I store it in a 33 gallon type garbage bag to keep it clean along with my other bed wedge (another type used to elevate the head and back). My only advice is to pile some things up and try the height before you order. Some of these wedges are lower and some are higher. Make sure to get one that is comfortable for your needs.

I wish I had bought this pillow a year ago. I have problems with leg pain and swelling. Before I got this pillow I used two bed pillows stacked. They would end up in different places. With this pillow it is easy to keep it where you want it. The firmness is great. There is an amazing difference between this pillow and regular bed pillows.

This is my second wedge purchase. I bought this for my father who needed to keep his legs elevated for pain relief. I like the fact that it comes with a cover that is washable. I would reccomend getting the smaller wedge for a woman as this one is rather large. I researched medical supply companies and the web and Amazon had the best price.

this leg support is quite large ..large enough for my 250lb husband who uses this support to relieve the pain in his right hip ...its a freat fit under the legs and is firm enough to hold up

This pillow wedge is the correct firmness that supports my entire leg through the night to help with circulation. I broke my leg (tibia and fibula) over two years ago requiring surgery with the insertion of plates and screws. This wedge elevates my leg as recommended by physical therapists and reduces lower leg swelling and pressure. The zippered pillow cover is a definite plus.

My job has me on my feet, lifting heavy dogs, restraining animals (I work at a vet) for 9-10 hours a day. I have bad knees and my legs will swell or feel sore sometimes at the end of the day. I sleep with this every night and it gives me instant relief from my legs and I feel good as new in the mornings. I always elevate my legs because it makes them feel better but it is also very good for circulation and back problems. This pillow is perfect because, unlike stacked pillows, it won't fall over in the middle of the night! I recommend this to anyone who has a sore back, legs, or whatever the case may be.

I needed something to raise my feet and legs at night. It took a little getting used to, but that isn't the fault of the product. It is very good qualitly and serves the purpose well. It was a better price than most I had found. Time will tell how well it holds up, but it looks very substantial.

I had both my tibia and fibula broken in May 2008, I wish I would have had it then. I purchased this for the surgery for the removal of the interlocking screws. Really helped keep my leg elevated. Now, I use it from time to time as a back rest.

I just had ankle surgery and I am so glad I purchased this item. It is absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. My leg is currently in a big cast from the knee down, and this pillow makes it so easy to keep my foot elevated without having to worry about stacking up pillows, etc. It is nice and firm and really keeps your leg up where it should be. It is also very very comfortable, and I am convinced that it is the reason I have been so comfortable since my surgery. I do not have a single complaint about this item. :-)

I am recovering from a serious knee injury. Due to insurance reasons I had to return the hospital bed I was using. This device allows me to elevate my leg comfortably at night as I transition slowly back to a somewhat normal knee.

I fist used this item during my physical thearpy. I had injured my arm and when they gave me hot packs they elevated my legs with this item. It is great and I would give it an A+++++. It is good for a multitude of things. Acid reflux but it relieves pressure on your back and makes it feel absolutely wonderful. My husband and I use it all the time.

Purchased for my 90 yr old father who needed to have his feet elevated above his heart to reduce swelling in his legs. He has been very successful in getting more feeling in his feet and legs as well as reducing the swelling by using the bed wedge.

My husband purchased this for me as one of my Mother's Day Gifts! I think he had heard me complain about my feet one too many times!!! For me it was love at first sight. It takes so much pressure from my back and relieves my tired swollen feet ~ all at the same time. Not sure what he paid for it, but I'm sure it was worth it - to me for relieve and to him - to not hear me complaining!

This works wonderful for when you are sleeping on your back or in bed reading or watching TV. It is sturdy but lightweight and is easy to move if you are half asleep. I just had foot surgery and needed to have my feet elevated. This worked great and is well made for the price. It also takes a great deal of strain off you lower back.

This wedge is great for relieving back and leg strain! My only complaint is that I found the cotton cover somewhat scratchy. I would love to be able to purchase additional covers (in a choice of colors) of a softer fabric, such as French terry or cotton knit.

It's summertime, so I use this wedge only for the first 1/2 hour of bed time (per my doctors recommendation) and it's on top of bedding which is OK when you don't need a sheet or blanket. But come winter and colder weather I don't know if I'll be able to use it as it will be difficult to fit under the sheet and blanket. But it does help with my edema and for that reason I like it and recommend it, but keep in mind what I said earlier!

It is a good leg elavation, but I would have liked for the measurements to be a little more in detail. Even for someone who isn't "tall" it could be a little longer to be more comfortable.

I got this when I was laid up with a broken ankle and while it's significantly cheaper than other similar products I found it to be a great help when trying to sleep at night. It was durable, the cover was easy to wash and it provided my leg with much better support than I was able to achieve with just pillows. The only improvement I would suggest would be if the makers could some how form a bit of a groove on the top so that your leg doesn't turn from side to side in the night but that's probably too specific a need for the makers to concern themselves with. Regardless, I'd highly recommend Ortho Bed for anyone who is suffering from a broken ankle/leg and who has to keep their leg elevated at night.

I had foot surgery & I was required to elevate my foot for days.

This 'pillow' was very helpful to raise the one leg as required.

The only issue I have with it is that it is really not wide enough to raise both legs comfortably at the same time. I also have lower back problems & raising both legs on the one pillow is very uncomfortable for me.

However, if you want both legs raised at the same time & you were to purchase 2 & placed them side by side then it would be very comfortable & useful...

RECOMMENDATION: Buy the memory foam version of this.

I'm only saying this because I had pre-conceived notion how this wedge would work. I expect it to create a zero-gravity feel that would take a lot of the stress off of my back, in conjunction with my Tempurpedic bed. However, after about an hour my inclination is to kick it off. The best strategy in using this unit is to use it prior to going to sleep then you normally kick it off during the first hour or two of sleeping.

When using with the memory foam "comfort pillows" to prop up your back, it works better, however I have a feeling you'll feel better with the tempurpedic/memory foam version better. The foam basically does not conform to your lower body as it is too "blocky".

Spend the extra for the conforming version.

OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS I HAVE TRIED A NUMBER OF PILLOWS, WEDGES, AND OTHER PRODUCTS TO RELEIVE MY BACK PAIN. THE SIZE OF THE DURO0MED BED WEDGE IS PERFECT FOR MY HEIGHT. THE SHAPE WAS ALSO INITIALLY VERY COMOFRTABLE; HOWEVER, THIS WEDGE IS NOT FIRM ENOUGH TO KEEP ITS SHAPE BEYOND 20 TO 30 MINUTES OF USE. I WAS QUITE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS FACTOR BECAUSE I WANTED A COMFORTABLE WEDGE THAT HELD ITS SHAPE BETTER THAN THIS ONE DOES. I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO JUST KEEP LOOKING.

I bought this wedge for elevating my legs. I have chronic back problems and needed something to help reduce the pressure on my spine. This was useless. It is way too high for comfortably putting my legs up. It was too hard. I went back to using a regular pillow under them. The color of the pillowcase is too medical looking; white would even be better.

I returned it for refund

I ordered this along with a wedge May 1st. I have had the wedge from Amazon for about a week and love it. This one was not shipped until the 11th (ten days) and is now sitting in Spokane,WA. That is just a few ours up I-5 from me. It isn't scheduled to arrive until the 24th, a week after it is needed! I guess they must be sending it by walking messenger!

I would like to tell you about this product, however I never received it.
I ordered it in early part of January and Amazon replied that it would ship between Jan. 20th and Jan. 31st. Today is Jan. 31st. Have not received the product. Went on Amazon to check "Where's my stuff" . It read that my new shipping wait is now Feb.20 to Feb. 30th . Sorry very displeased.

Find another provider. I ordered mid-February, and was told 2-4 weeks for delivery. On March 19, that changed to April 18-May 2. I cancelled the order. Unless you can wait months on end for the product, don't order it! I just called another company (Healthy Back Store) and ordered similar product and will have it next week. If you're experiencing back pain or CHF, don't wait for this!
