My Mother and Father inlaw both suffer from back problems making it hard for them to get in and out of the car. Thanks to the Swivel seat, now they are able to move in and out much easier. Thanks for a great product

My husband had a total knee replacement. Getting in and out of our car was extremely difficult - purchased the swivel seat and it made the task simple. I highly recommend it!

I use this on a hard wood chair and it makes the chair much more comfortable, but not as comfortable as a couch seat. I suffer from back pain occasionally and I noticed that this cushion greatly reduces the incidences of back pain when I'm sitting. The swivel seat moves unnoticeably with my body as I turn while in my chair which a person would normally do while sitting at the office or at the dining table. I highly recommend this seat to anyone regardless of whether they have back pain because it allows the body to flow easily as one moves to pick up an item on the table or speak to someone and this flowing movement seems healthier than the stretching and pulling that normally happens without the seat.

My octagenarian mother likes using this for getting out of her seat at the dinner table, avoiding having to swing her legs out from under the table. I had hoped she would use it for getting in and out of the car, which she still drives and which would have put to the test the product's claim that it conforms to bucket seats and not just hard flat surfaces, but she likes it so much at the dinner table, I haven't been able to convince her to try it in the car! Perhaps I'll get another.

My husband really likes this 'booty lazy-Susan'. It's a big help for someone with back trouble. My neighbor craves this one because it has good padding on the seat.

Just remember to keep the seat back far enough that you are able to swing your knees under the steering wheel.

My husband uses this and it works fairly well in our minivan. One of the problems is the depth of the seat, but it does still swivel. The other problem is that it is not comfortable for any length of time, so we have to remove it for other than around town.

This product didn't work for what I had in mind. It's small and hard and not comfortable for an elderly person with limited mobility. Concerned about pressure sores, I cut out a piece of circular eggcrate foam to place on top, but that did not work out well.

The car seat is not flat, so the swivel device gets a bit lost in the car seat's center depression.

For someone in good physical condition and with a flat car seat or chair, I can see where this product might be acceptable if they're not uncomfortable sitting on a rather small, firm disk. So I rate 3 stars even though it did not work for us.

I purchased this because my parent has parkinsons. She is very weak and has little control over her legs. She has great difficulty getting in and out of the passenger seat of a car. I thought this would help but she is unable to make it turn. She weighs only 100 pounds and her legs are too weak to push on the flooring and make the seat turn.
I personally tried it and can see how anyone with some leg strength would benifit by having it.

Could be a good product, does not work well for a person with limited mobility (advanced Parkinson's) or with my car. The height of the cushion adds to the difficulty of climbing into the car. Almost impossible to SLIDE onto the car seat and on top of the swivel seat and be in the right position to swivel. User must be able to sit squarely on top of the swivel seat - which my husband cannot. I would not recommend to anyone wheelchair bound needing moderate assistance with getting into a car.

i WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ITEM FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

1. CONSIDERING I'M PAYING EXTRA FOR CHRISTMAS WRAPPING, THE ITEM

WAS NOT CHRISTMAS WRAPPED. A FEEBLE ATTEMT WAS MADE BY

PLACING THE ITEM IN A BLUE BAG WITH A YELLOW TIE-ON.

2. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED THAT THIS ITEM WAS NOT DESIGNED

FOR BUCKET SEATS.

I HAD ORDERED TWO ITEMS AND BOTH HAVE BEEN RETURNED.

Does not swivel on bucket seats that are not flat and it is also hard to keep it away from the back of the seat to allow for easy swiveling. I returned the product.

I'm very disappointed......I never received this product. I e-mailed Allegro Medical and got not response. Amazon A-Z Guarantee gave me my money back and I ordered the cushions,from another company, and have already received them and have been using them. I had no idea they were back ordered, from Allegro, until I got this e-mail yesterday.
