Corner Shower Seat - Teak Wood, White
Reviews of Corner Shower Seat - Teak Wood, White
1.) Solid construction

The teak shower seat is a solid made item. The wood appears to be in good shape after using it in the shower for more than one month. The legs are sturdy enough to stand on, although I do not recommend using it for this purpose. It has a nice adjustable leg feature also. The rubber/plastic ends will help in protecting the tile surface, but they seem to be a little hard for a slip resistant purposes.
2.) Teak Slats too lightweight

I leaned forward and broke one of the thin slats. The seat is useless now and unsafe. I would recommend looking for a teak seat with fewer slats that are thicker.
3.) Terrible Bench
Reviewed by: Valerie Bishop Santa Barbara, CA United States

This teak bench looks real good, but it stops there. The teak is coated in some supposedly water resistent coating. Within in a just a few weeks of use the coating started to chip off. The water then got under the chipped area and the wood started to turn black (mold?).
Don't waste your money. I am now looking for a natural teak stool, one that doesen't have a finish on it.
4.) DANGEROUS

I've had this teak seat for only a few weeks and it split in half while I was sitting on it in the shower this morning. I fell right on my tail bone and hit my back & head on the tiled shower wall. I am only 5'4" and weigh 130 lbs.
I would hate to see this product cause serious injury to an elderly person or anyone for that matter. The only reason why I gave this product any star is that the system won't allow you to go forward without selecting something. I feel this product should be recalled.
5.) MOLD

Beware of mold on this one. I'm on here now looking into other alternative types. We purchased this stool a while ago and have had trouble with mold since. Today I put it in the trash. Problem solved.
6.) very dangerous

I purchased this stool not even two weeks ago, was in shower and sat down. I am an average size female, and screws seperated from base where teak is attached to legs and made legs fall off, sent me flying into my tile wall and broke out tiles with my head and body. Spent afternoon in emergency room. This product is not safe, maker of product should recall.
7.) RUST!

We had this seat and used it for 1 1/2 years. Didn't know cause it didn't stain the floor, but it COMPLETLY rusted. I'm suprised it stayed upright. It's a good thing we never sat on it.
